In the usual fashion of a journalist turned novelist, this book is lacking in concrete information, but it is a lovely story. It jumps around a lot so it's hard to follow the story line, but the book talks the Tarahumara, a tribe of indigenous people from the Copper Canyons area of Mexico who are long distance runners.
